Naini Lakes
Naini Lakes Located 2 Km from Shervani Hilltop, A beautiful lake in the Middle of the city along the main mall, famous for boat riding and offers an enchanting view of the city from the lake.
Snow View
(Altitude2270 meter ) located 4 km from Shervani Hilltop, top the Sher-Ka-danda Ridge (north by north -east of the town center ) is easily reachable by a cable car. You can see the Himalaya from the Himalaya Darshan point.On a clear day , it offers spectacular views of the snowbound high Himalaya, including Nanda Devi , Trishul, and Nanda Kot . The best time of the year for viewing the mountains is late October and November. At the top there is a viewing area offering a vista of Himalayan peaks. You can amble along the promenade and sit back to enjoy the view at the cafes on the summit. A further 6 kms up and you reach the Naina Peak at 2,611 metres.

Khurpa Tal
located 10 kms. From Shervani Hilltop, the lake is a haven for anglers, and is inhabited by a number of fishes. It is situated on Nainital - Kaladhungi-Ramnagar motorable road.
The waterfall is situated 8 kms. from Shervani Hilltop, on the Kaladhungi-Ramnagar motorable road falling under the Nainital Forest Division. The fall is surrounded by a forest belt. Some other added attractions for the visitors are the 'Nature Walk', the adventurous camping sites etc. The place an ideal picnic spot.
Naina (Also China, Also Cheena) Peak
is located 6 km from Shervani Hilltop, Is the highest peak in the town with an altitude of 2615 meter (8568 feet). It obtains a panoramic view of Nainital town itself. The summit is an invigorating hike from Nainital town, in addition, for the less energetic visitors; ponies can be hired in Bara - Pathar . The highest point in Nainital. It commands a superb view of the Himalayas and an intriguing bird's-eye view of Nainital. One can walk or take ponies to the peak.
Tiffin Top (Also Dorothy’S Seat)
located 5 Km from Shervani Hillotp, (Tiffin - light meal eaten during the day). This terraced hill top (altitude 2292 meter) on Ayarapatta hills commands a nice view of the neighboring country side. Dorothy Kellet, by her husband and admirers after her death in plane crash. From here you can get a panoramic view of the town below. At Land's End, 2,881 metres high to the south of the lake is a vantage point for a view of the Khurpa Tal.
Ayarpatta Hill
located 3 km from Shervani Hilltop, Is a haven of trees-oak, fir, deodar, pine and rhododendron. Some of the roads are narrow and still paved with brick. On this hill stands Gurney House, home of the great Jim Corbett, the fearless famous hunter, conservationist and writer to remember. The house was named after Corbett's father. It is now a museum of Corbett memorabilia.
Horse Riding
Any visitor coming to Nainital do not miss the joy of riding a horse on the hills. To reach the Snow View Point, Tiffin Top, Kilburi from the Bara- Pathar Mallital area one can hire ponies and horses.
Kilburi
is located 12 km from Shervani Hillotp. It amidsts green forests, peaceful, quite and offers a very good view of the Himalayas.

Naina Devi Temple
is located 2 Km from Shervani Hilltop, The attractive lake of Nainital is said to be the eyes of Sati, wife of Lord Shiva. Sati jumped into the sacrificial bonfire. Lord Shiva to mourn the death of his beloved wife carried the body across the country. The remains of her body fell at various places which today are sacred worship places for the Hindus.

Governor’S House (Also Raj Bhavan)
formerly, Government House was built in 1899 and designed in the Victorian Gothic domestic style (also called "domestic Gothic") by the architect F.W. Stevens. Originally built as the summer residence of the Governor of the North West province, it later became the summer residence for lieutenant Governor of the united province. Currently, raj bhawan is the official guest house for the Governor of Uttarakhand and for visiting state guest. The complex consists of a two-storied mansion with 113 rooms, a large garden, a swimming pool and golf green. Obtaining prior permission is must for visiting. To play golf contact reception.
Hanuman Garhi
is located 4 km from Shervani Hilltop, It is religious center, well known for its sun set view. A very beautiful Hanuman Mandir established by Baba Neem Karoli, is at the top. From Hanuman Garhi, watching is very soothing. You can walk down from Nainital to Hanuman Garhi. Hanuman Garhi, a small temple off the Haldwani road also offers a good view of the valley.
Observatory
is located 6.5 Km from Shervani Hilltop, situated at an altitude of 1951 MT. observatory is basically a place of astronomical studies. Public is shown round of the instruments during working days at afternoons. For night viewing three four days on moonlit nights are fixed and permission is needed. And an ideal place to watch the sun setting over the plains.
HIGH ALTITUDE ZOO is located 3.5 km Shervani Hilltop
Perched at a high altitude of 2075 meter, the zoo is famous for housing a variety of species of animals living at higher altitude. Naini Tal has a small but a very beautiful Zoological garden. There are many animals kept here which includes Deers, Bears, Tigers and many more.
Cave Garden
is located 1 Km from Sehrvani Hilltop - A very beautiful natural garden having many natural caves excursions.
St. John´S Church
The Church of St. John in the Wilderness built in 1846 and one of the earliest colonial structures is just beyond Mallital. A brass memorial is kept in memory of the persons who were buried in the infamous landslide. The Secretariat was designed in 1899 by F.W. Stephens, the architect who also designed the grand VT and Churchgate railways stations of Mumbai.

Ghorakhal
is located 20 km from Shervani Hilltop, Famous for the temple of Gollu Devta, a demi god highly revered by the Kumaoni. The famous Sainik School of India is also located here.
Bhimtal is located
25 km from Shervani Hilltop, this is the place for a quiet holiday. It has lovely dappled paths, ravines festooned with dog rose and wild raspberry, farm houses set among terraced fields and citrus trees hung with fruits. The lake offers scope for boating and in the middle of the lake, there is an intriguing looking island with a restaurant.
Sat Tal
is located 27 Km from Shervani Hilltop, Originally a cluster of seven lakes, now reduced to five (since two have dried up), Sat Tal (21 km from Nainital) has all it takes to veil the place in a kind of mystique-densely wooded hills, roads that glide under a canopy of gossamer green oak trees, pines and dark brooding firs, little creeks along the shores of the lakes and boat rides on the placid waters.
Naukutchia Tal
is located 30 km from Shervani Hilltop, it is the deepest and by far the most picturesque lake in the Kumaon region and derives its name from the nine corners which came together to form it. It is a tranquil, pleasant expanse of water, reflected green by the low, wooded hills cradling it and surrounded by 70 acres of predominantly oak forests which, after the monsoons, show the innumerable hues of the Himalayan forest.
Ramgarh
